Hands-on Training on Peptide Mass Fingerprinting & Protein Identification by MALDI-TOF-MS

A two-day hands-on training programme designed to provide practical exposure to Peptide Mass Fingerprinting and protein identification using MALDI-TOF-MS. Participants gained experience in protein sample preparation, peptide analysis, mass spectrometry-based protein identification and interpretation of results.

The training also introduced the role of bioinformatics and proteomics tools in protein characterization and highlighted applications of MALDI-TOF-MS in agriculture, biotechnology, biomedical research and drug discovery.
