VCS Hands on Training on High Throughput Analysis of Protein: "MALDI TOF"

MALDI-TOF MS is one of the most potent proteomics methods that can be used for protein marker/biological markers discovery and helps breeders for selecting suitable cultivars adapted under diverse biotic and abiotic stresses/different developmental stages. It is used for identification of bacterial species, viruses, fungi and parasites. It provides precise, quick, easy and comprehensive information on new species and novel plant proteins. The training programme has been designed to develop trained human resource on basics of MALDI TOF, its software and hardware; sample preparation, analysis and interpretation of analysed data.

Target Participants

The participants (approximately 20 Nos.) include faculty/scientists and students of UG, PG, Ph.D. from TNAU and other Indian institutions from the Life Science stream. The registration fee is Rs.2360/- per participant (including 18% GST).
