Hands on Training in "LC-MS Approaches for Exploration of Nutraceuticals from Edible Plants"

Objective of the Course

The Hands on Training Program in LCMS Approaches for Exploration of Nutraceuticals from Edible Plants provides a potential opportunity to PG, Ph.D. students and faculty to know more about the importance and identification of bioactive metabolites using advanced techniques.

Training Content

The programme intends to impart hands on training to the participants on LCMS basic principles, instrumentation and application, LCMS/MS data interpretation and four hands-on sessions on instrumentation of LCMS, qualitative software, quantification basics, sensitivity and linearity, targeted MS and data processing, method development for unknown samples and maintenance of the LCMS/MS instrument etc.

Target Participants

The participants (approximately 30 Nos.) include faculty/scientists and students of UG, PG, Ph.D. from TNAU and other Indian institutions from the Life Science stream. The registration fee is Rs.3540/- per participant (including 18% GST).
